Kendriya Vidyalaya No1, Hathibarkala Dehradun is located in the heart of the Capital of
Uttarakhand amidst sprawling greens near Rajpur road and easily accessible by
public transport from both sides(Rajpur Road and New Cant Road). The name of locality is
Salawala, Hathibarkala.
This KV is functioning under KVS(HQ) New Delhi(an autonomous organisation of HRD
Ministry, Govt. of India) with these objectives:-Common Programm of Education, Pursuit Of
Excellence , Experimentation and National Integration, The team of the School is trying its
level best to achieve these objective. It is a three sections School from classes 1 to 12. At
+2 stage Science, Commerce, and Humanity streams are available.
The KV is working under the able guidance of Shri Avinash Dikshit, Commissioner KVS
, Sh M.M.Joshi, Deputy Commissioner(Acad), Sh.U.N.Khaware Deputy Commissioner(Admin)
Of KVS(HQ) and Mr J.M.Rawat Assistant Commissioner KVS, Dehradun Region. Maj Gen Manoj Tayal(Add.Surveyor General of India) is the present Chairman of Vidyalaya Management Committee.
